About Me

Dearest reader,

Welcome to my blog and thank you for checking out my little corner on the web! I’m Sanne, a 20-something who is passionate about knitting, crocheting, embroidery, motorcycling, music, languages, and history. I live in a small town on the Dutch countryside. In 2022 I completed my bachelor’s program (Hebrew Language and Culture) at the University of Amsterdam. I am currently taking my master’s in Jewish Studies – also at the University of Amsterdam. Besides that, I work as a freelance pattern editor & translator.

I’ve loved creating things ever since I was a little girl. Drawing, sewing, embroidering, knitting, crocheting – I did it all! I got serious about crochet after graduating from High School back in 2014. Back then, I mainly made small items like keychains, amigurumi, and baby clothes because I looked for quick and easy projects and my yarn stash wasn’t very impressive yet. However, I soon started crocheting my own garments, and after that I quickly moved on to knitting garments (I think we can all agree that knit garments have the BEST drape?!).

My favorite thing about knitting and crocheting is that it allows me to fully customize my clothes, and that I’m able to make garments that fit me perfectly in every possible way! You can find my own designs in my webshop, but also on Ravelry. I also love making designs by other crochet and knitwear designers. I think that’s a great way to support the community! Besides that, it has taught me a great many things about designing that I wouldn’t have figured out on my own.

I hope you will find yourself inspired by my designs and the content shared on this blog. Thank you for your support!

With love,

Sanne

Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in collaborating. I’m always happy to collaborate with brands and small businesses who want to showcase their products.

I also do pattern translations (English and Dutch) and I provide tech editing services for both languages.
