Free Crochet Pattern: Head in the Clouds Hat

Free Crochet Pattern: Head in the Clouds Hat

Hi there! How have you been? I hope you’re having a wonderful summer! A lot has changed for me during the last few months. I completed my bachelor’s program and am officially no longer an undergraduate! I’m starting two masters in September: one in Jewish Studies and a research master in History. A few weeks ago I also moved to another town. I’m really settling into my new neighborhood and I can’t wait to start exploring the local surroundings now that my summer break has finally started!

During this academic year, I wrote up the pattern for a super cute summery bucket hat. I initially wanted to release the pattern in April or May, but writing my bachelor’s thesis took up most of my time. After handing in my thesis a little over two weeks ago, I finally found the time to finish the pattern and release it on all of my platforms! So without further ado – meet the Head in the Clouds hat! It’s a sweet and simple crocheted bucket hat that will keep your eyes out of the sun on those hot summer days. The Head in the Clouds hat is worked top down in the round. The ad-free, printable PDF version of the pattern can be purchased in English and Dutch in my webshop and on Ravelry.

You can find the instructions below. This free version of the pattern is written in US crochet terms. The ad-free printable PDF version is also available in Dutch and in UK crochet terms.
